Job Description

My client is an international investment company with strong Asian presence. Currently they are looking for a Head of Operation to manage 2 functions (administration and quality assurance) within HK team.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage a team of staff responsible for Dealing Administration for different fund platforms
  • To perform client onboarding, maintenance, transaction processing, settlement, cash movement, cash reconciliation, reporting for different fund platforms
  • Manage ongoing updates of client profile
  • To manage the service quality and conduct regular service review of all outsourcing service providers.
  • Prepare various MIS reports and commission reports
  • Ensure the processes of FATCA/CRS reporting comply with the regulatory requirements
  • To check the daily operation in compliance with the operating procedures e.g. AML/KYC and onboarding checklists
  • Lead critical projects to automate and streamline the operating model, systems and processes for wealth management operations in HK  
  • Provide solutions to support new business initiatives
  • Coordinate and/or drive Asia Wealth and Asset Management Operations projects and initiatives


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with over 10 years’ relevant working experience,
  • Experience in process and oversight for settlement, cash movement, cash reconciliation and control
  • Experience in people supervisory/managerial for over 5 years
  • Experience and knowledge in client (individual and corporation) on boarding including but not limited to KYC / AML checking and monitoring.
  • Experience and knowledge in FATCA and CRS reporting.
  • Experience in project management with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in monitor service quality with external service providers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines and the flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research issues where the resolution is not readily apparent.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
