Job Description - Chinese Copywriter
We are looking for a passionate Chinese copywriter to help us create and share engaging content with our audience across a variety of platforms. The role will play a key part in maximizing our capabilities in ATL
advertising, digital and social space for our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop creative advertising concepts / ideas, exceptional command of traditional and simplified Chinese in speech and writing, to communicate concepts and universal insights;
- Strong ideation skills for campaigns that will require script, headline, long and short-form copy
- Researches and engages with current strategies that aim to maximize comprehension; fearlessly shares values and references with the broader team;
- Plan and write unique and compelling copy for campaigns and social content across variety of platforms, including social, with a strong focus on driving traffic and conversion, growing qualified audience, and boosting engagement.
- Plan and manage a dynamic and engaging social calendar of events, content promotions or contests to drive user contributions with community and social media managers.
- Track competitive landscape to identify trends and opportunities within the space.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2-3 years of 4A advertising agency/ digital / social experience.
- Proven experience in writing for campaigns and always on content (ATL advertising, digital and social); and developing and testing social strategies including hashtags, influencers, time/day and other optimizing tactics.
- Demonstrated track record of growing and engaging audience through social networks.
- Solid knowledge of and passion for established and emerging social platforms, trends, and practices.
- Strong understanding of the brands’ mission, voice, and audience.
- Extremely sharp writing and grammar skills, and sound editorial judgment.
- A good command of both written and spoken Cantonese/English. Mandarin is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as autonomously.
