Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Head of CF North Asia to develop and implement commercial/sales plan with key objectives and metrics towards building and generating new opportunities for CF North Asia
  • Assisting in the development of Vistra brand awareness and promoting CF services to potential clients through sales and marketing campaigns
  • Capable in securing new-new business and closing of related opportunities
  • Establishing and nurturing new business referral relationships
  • Marketing of Vistra to professional intermediaries, chambers of commerce, government investment promotion agencies, banks, and end clients
  • Able to develop and manage a Business Development team to drive Vistra’s business vision, brand and services on behalf of CF North Asia
  • Coach and manage the Business Development team in English-Chinese language proposals, collection of CDD and other documents necessary to onboard
  • Identify and cross-refer opportunities to other business units, where applicable
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as the Head of Company Formations may require

Requirements / Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • 10+ years’ experience in business development roles gained in a corporate, fiduciary or financial services setting (or similar professional services sector)
  • Business development experience should include a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Prior team management experience of 2+ years
  • Degree in Communications, Commerce/Economics, Accounting or Law or other relevant disciplines
  • Self-starter with the ability to interact with the North Asia marketplace to build opportunities to grow CF’s North Asia business
  • Ability to identify market trends, and client needs towards being able to assist in redefining Vistra’s service offerings
  • Strong communication/ presentation skills with the ability to provide non-technical explanations to technical matters, and summarize and present information in a clear, concise and accurate written and verbal form
  • Strong team management skills, combining planning, organization and coaching
  • Results-oriented, and numeric, capable in tracking and recording activity on client proposals and assist team members in pitching and closing deals
  • High EQ with potential to deal with individual and cultural differences and able to establish effective relationships with colleagues and clients alike
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office especially in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Systematic use of commercial reporting and CRM tools/Salesforce would be highly regarded
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese)
