Job Description

Your Position

You will report directly to the Finance Director, Asia Pacific and will have full responsibility and ownership of the company’s collection process. You are responsible for the timely collection of trade receivables and handling all communication relating to cash collection within Asia Pacific. Besides the daily work, there is a strong focus on continuous improvement and automation of processes.

  • Pro-actively approach clients via email and telephone regarding unpaid invoices
  • Cash forecasting
  • Monitor debtor balances to ensure a reduction in DSO
  • Ensure credit and collection policies and procedures are followed
  • Manage general credit control e-mail boxes
  • Produce reports and analysis of Accounts Receivable
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Support in enhancing credit control processes and procedures
  • Manage bad debt collection files
  • Perform ad hoc projects as needed

Your Profile

  • Degree in Accountancy or Finance or other related disciplines
  • 3 years of working experience in credit control; Experience in trust, accounting or legal services industry is an advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel; Knowledge of SAP is considered an advantage
  • Fluent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles, documentation skills, research & resolution skills, data analysis & multi-tasking skills
  • Able to keep confidentiality, work independently & meet deadlines; detail minded with strong problem solving skills
  • Being a team player with excellent communication skills and strong organization & prioritizing skills
