Job Description

Responsibilities:

 

  • Cross-sell banking products, including cash management, trade finance, trade services, structured trade products, foreign exchange, commodities, fixed income, loans (including syndicated, bilateral) and capital market products
  • Responsible for all credit aspects of the relationship including annual reviews, early problem recognition and remedial management
  • Provide financial solutions to customers to achieve business targets on wealth management, actively seek for new business and maintain existing and establish new relationships within the high net worth market segment
  • Manage and anticipate client requirements with a focus towards managing the existing base as well as increase cross product holding per client
  • Build, understand and sustain relationships with the client’s circle of influence (e.g. a parent, mentor, advisor or other family member) 
  • Consistent and frequent communication with client providing complete, concise portfolio valuations and guidance. 
  • Serve as a problem-solver for the client, helping them identify investment criteria, recognise and handle concerns that arise as consultation moves closer to decision.  
  • Provide ongoing portfolio supervision, with a continuous focus towards helping the client adapt to changes in personal circumstances and the financial environment. 
  • Effectively convert service recovery to sales opportunities and sustained client loyalty. 
  • RM will be dedicated for key markets or customers from specific corridors, with respective country connection, internal networking, language skills, community and compliance familiarity 
  • Ensure meeting clients requirements while ensuring compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities by all staff.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in branch and sales role, of which adequate experience in managing a sizable unit with people management responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience, MBA or master’s degree in Business preferred
  • Proven and progressive related lending/credit experience or equivalent product experience
  • Passes in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations / Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examinations
  • Demonstrated credit skills, including a background in credit
  • Experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance and securities products preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Corporate Banking business including related products, pertinent regulations and the lending and credit approval process
