- Provide visualisation, insights and commentary to reports and analytics projects
- Deep dive analysis to answer business questions
- Quality Control and sense checking of numbers and reports delivered by analytics unit
- Investigate and test new tools for analysis, visualisation, real-time reporting and big data.
- Support in developing the company’s productised solutions.
- Setting up new report templates and dashboards
- Work directly with customer service and clients to define project requirements and present findings
Requirements:
- Degree in statistics, mathematics, science or related business discipline
- 5+ years experience in marketing analytics with strong knowledge of statistical modelling
- Experience working with large volume data, including mining, segmentation, predictive modelling or decision support services
- SQL skills are a must. Experience working with database (MSSQL Server, Oracle or MySQL). SAS (Base or Enterprise Miner) and/or SPSS skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Google Analytics, Telerik, Tableau, MS Project skill a bonus.
- A passion for working with numbers and present them in a way that make business sense and the ability to see patterns where others can’t
- Attention to details, intuitive and able to deliver accurate results
- Willing to take initiative and work independently. Experience coaching junior staff a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
