Responsibilities:

• Lead a merchandising team to ensure effective sourcing and merchandising activities
• Manage day to day merchandising process from design development, protos development, vendor management, cost and budget control and coaching the team members to meet business goals & requirements
• Lead price negotiation with vendors and mills, ensure design requirements are met for both product and margin stand point
• Follow up on sample development to production and bulk orders
• Strong co-ordination while multi-tasking to meet deadline requirements
• Capable to deal with overseas buyers / factories independently
• Strong negotiation, planning & organization skills and able to follow up details closely

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in merchandising, fashion, textile or related disciplines;
• 10-15 years of solid supervisory experience for cut & sewn knit merchandising, preferably in US & Southeast Asia market.
• Knowledge of US & Southeast Asia Brands SOP
• Off Shore factory knowledge is an advantage
• Strong leadership
• Good command of both written and spoken Cantonese, Putonghua and English
• Aggressive and organized, with strong communication and interpersonal skill, responsible and able to work under pressure
• Travel is required
