Responsibilities:

• Report to Testing and Product Safety Manager
• Assist Fabric Team to conduct risk analysis of new fabric in order to meet Fit-For-Purpose quality requirements
• Assist Manager to conduct seasonal line review on risk analysis, performance audit of individual categories and brands in Boardriders
• Communicate and follow up with supplier/vendor to submit sample selected in seasonal performance audit exercise to quality partner for testing in order to resolve potential issue before bulk production
• Assist with developing and administering Boardriders test protocols to suppliers / vendors
• Handle and resolve individual performance testing failure and potential quality issue cases
• Provide the judgement of release of shipment based on technical expertise on the norm of conditional acceptance
• Work with quality partner to resolve any issue regarding testing service provide to Boardriders
• Provide technical advice for quality improvement and problem solving to both internal and external
• Support Manager on provide performance standard or safety regulatory updates to the Boardriders teams
• Support documentation including SOPs
• Additional duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Textile Technology or related discipline with at least 5 years related experience
• Good knowledge of textile and commercial textile standard
• Familiar with US and Europe testing standards, legal requirements and regulations; e.g. CPSIA, REACH, Children Product Safety Regulations
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin and/or another relevant Asian language
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
