Job Purpose

Input, review and maintain master data through use of written procedures and forms ensuring standardization and accuracy across multiple systems. Provide day to day business support to the users for the Asia Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish an effective application support service.
• Input, review, and maintain vendor, customer, general ledger chart of accounts, dimensions, EPO, foreign exchange rates, sales/withholding tax codes, calendar periods, company information, bank accounts master data and further master data items that may be identified (including but not limited to Microsoft AX, Island Pacific, ReconNet, Virtual Premise and Hyperion).
• Maintain change history of master data per established procedures and in compliance with SOX requirements.
• Ensuring all aspects of the procedures are adhered to by the business and by the Master Data team.
• Collect and file all relevant details pertaining to the master files from the parties concerned.
• Verify accuracy of information received as well as signatures.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects within the finance team.
• Through the use of query and excel, extract master file information on demand to support report creation for other areas of the business.
• Follow-up daily on the Work Orders from users via the Magic System and ensure that the process is compliant with SOX standards.
• Identify options for potential master data solutions & assessing them for both technical & business suitability.
• Propose master data solutions to the business users.
• Develop user manuals/guides.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years experience of master data administration.
• Business/systems background in financial project change or integration.
• Experience of working in an American based, international organization.
• Working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley.
• Understanding of ERP system.
• Knowledge & practical experience of the following:
• Windows XP/NT/2000.
• Financial applications.
• Microsoft office
