Job Summary

The incumbent of this position is responsible for supporting the Finance Manager for the operation of the General Ledger function of our fast growing Asia regional office

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare the monthly journals, month end closing and financial reporting
• Assist in preparation of management reports on quarterly basis
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget & forecasts
• Assist in the preparation of corporate tax return to local authorities and handle other tax related matters
• Managing operating cost and control expenses, identify saving potentials and promote cost reduction opportunity
• Implement the internal controlling system to monitor operating performance
• Cash flow management and maintain good working relationship with local bankers and all external parties
• Co-ordinate company secretarial requirements for timely maintenance of company registration status
• Liaise and communicate with related parties in China, Far East & Swiss offices to follow up accounting assignments
• Perform special project/assignment as and when requested by supervisor

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting or Finance with professional qualification
• Minimum 6 years’ accounting experience
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/HKICPA)
• Detailed oriented, able to prioritize and perform under pressure
• Good communication skills and good team player
• Knowledge in BI, ERP systems (such as SAP) is a definite advantage
• Well versed in Microsoft Office applications
