RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work as an individual contributor to provide high quality 2D Character Skin illustration for US gaming audience.

• Support, mentor and inspire the art team to deliver overall goals and projects on time.

• Partner with the Game Director, Production and Art Manager to ensure the team meets business needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of industry experience as a illustrator

• Master level competence of Photoshop, with a focus on painting.

• Solid understanding character and clothing production design and development. 

• Creative mindset

• Autonomous and proactive.

• Excellent illustration skills, deep understanding of human and creature anatomy, with a keen eye towards composition, perspective, lighting, value, color theory, form, structure, shape language, and silhouette.

• Strong foundation in the traditional arts including but not limited to painting, sculpture, figure drawing, illustration.

• Able to carry an idea from the conceptual phase to the finished illustration, and an understanding of how to adapt these ideas for marketing.

• Strong understanding of the human form / anatomy, background storytelling, lighting, composition, perspective, and color theory.

• Great at brainstorming, taking direction, collaborating and being part of a team.

• Oral and written communication English skills
