Our client is a global investment bank which offers the entire range of banking services to private individuals. Successful candidate will be responsible for eBusiness Technical Support team which is in charge of production management of eBusiness applications on FX, Bonds and IRD activities.

Responsibilities:

• User management (front office user with issues around trade workflow / market data / P&L)
• Start of Day check lists and End of Day batch monitoring
• Incident management including incident root causes investigations
• Performing necessary resolution actions (e.g. launch tools or recovery commands such as manual recovery, resource reconfiguration, copy files, backup, stop / start of processes, etc)
• Management of and response to user requests
• Documenting incidents and updating procedures
• Validating changes from a technical perspective, validating deployment scripts and procedures
• Conducting release deployment in pre-production and Operational Acceptance Testing
• Conducting health checks and controls (morning check etc.), and continuous monitoring
• Troubleshooting on production issue
• Monitoring supervision and improvement through ITRS

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline
• Strong communication skills and Fluent in English
• At least 2 years of experience on production support for trading systems
• Experience in IT services & operations
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes, Linux/Unix, Windows Server and IIS
• Working knowledge of networks, firewalls, proxies, database, systems and application management
• Strong experience working with both project team & users
• Strong experience with change management skills

Working Hours (HK Time): 6am to 3pm / 4am to 1pm (alternative weeks)
