Main Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional deskside support in person, or remotely as appropriate
• Respond to technical requests including feasibility study, solution design for new system deployment, system migration, hardware renewal, incidents response and problems solving relating to hardware, software & applications
• Plan and undertake scheduled system upgrades / operational changes and migration
• Responsible for administration and management on systems and application servers to ensure the availability of all network hardware and equipment such as Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Servers, Backup Server, VMWare, LAN and Wan, routers, switches
• Provide security control for internet access and perimeter network, protect from external threats with CheckPoint firewall, Barracuda spam filter and other solutions
• Support the Regional Head to proactively manage suppliers and vendors and to ensure the region adhere to global standards and priorities
• Adhoc business travel when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Management & related discipline
• 5 years of solid working experience in providing network support. 
• Experience working in Regional Office environment with close partnership with different locations and headquarter
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Windows OS (Win 7 and above), Windows Server (2008 and above), VMWare ESX server, SAN, NAS, Active Directory, PKI, LAN & WAN, VOIP and security mechanisms like antispam, firewalls and VPN clients is required
• Definite an advantage if having knowledge in Microsoft Azure, Scripting (e.g. bush, python, powershell), SQL, IT Monitoring and Alerting tools (e.g. SNMP, Windows WMI), Business Applications (e.g, Oracle Netsuite, SAP, Salesforce), Apple Mac OS, FileWave
• Additional plus of obtaining IT Service Management qualification (e.g. ITIL) and Project Management qualification (e.g. Prince 2)
• Experienced in managing work with external suppliers/vendors
• Good command of both reading and writing in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
• Exceptional at time management and self organising & planning
• Comfortable with working in a demanding user environment where adaptability, flexibility and patience are required
