About our client:

Our client is a Apparel Garment Group around the Hong Kong and Asia who have global famous clients.  Due to their fast expansion, they are currently seeking for a GM/AGM (Management & Technical & Product Development background) based in Guangdong China, lead a sizable Technical team covers brands sample room, manufacturing environment and garment technology.

• For Intimate, Lingerie & Sports Apparel
• Directly reports to the Vice President
• Based in Guangdong for 5 days a week
• Provide Housing and Meals and shuttle bus
  

Responsibilities:

• Manage team workload, work delegation and its executions.
• Establish the strategic direction, annual goals, operating plan and budget plan, result measurements, resources allocation, conduct progress review.
• Drive the team to meet the global market needs, such as shorter lead time, widen product categories.
• Develop and implement technical processes, quality and managing technical resources within the budget.
• Train in-house staff and vendors to technical standards.
• Reduce the sample costs, improve and re-engineer the garment construction.
  
• Partner with sales team to prepare the samples in the right time with right quality.
• Drive and embrace innovation in operations, develop and study new operation workflow and technology.
• Identify the operations procedures, and provide technical expertise to guide the teams and road map to resolve them.

 Requirements:

• Minimum 20 years’ experience in garment manufacturing industry
• *Experience of manufacturing intimate, lingerie apparels is a MUST
• Familiar with garment product development and merchandising
• Strong leadership skills, especially managed a sizeable team in factory
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Good communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
• Based in Guangdong for 5 days a week, providing housing and meals and shuttle bus
