Focusing on local charity projects, in collaboration with external project partners, our client is seeking for a high calibre candidate to join the team.
Reporting to senior managers, you will be responsible for assisting in processing funding applications by doing research and analysis of the requests as well as to analyse social/community service needs and identify potential projects. You will also be contributing to the development of strategy and work plans to optimise the beneficial impact of the funds contribution. With the approved funding, you will be monitoring its progress and expenditure ensuring the projects will achieve the agreed objectives, and be carried out within scope and budget and meet the pledged output and deliverables. You will have to build strong network and work closely with NGOs, Government departments, and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should be a Bachelor Degree holder in Communications, Marketing, Social Science or a related discipline, with at least 10 years of experience in CSR / CSV, grant making and/or research in social/community services within NGOs, public sectors and/or commercial sectors. You are expected to have passion towards tackling social issues; knowledge and insights on community service needs as well as experienced in working with external partners like NGOs, government departments and academics of various levels. You are passionate in charities work and community services, particularly in youth development, education and underprivileged group. Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills, and with good analytical skills are required. Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese) is mandatory.
