Job Duties

• You will also be required to monitor news services to ensure the publications are updated in line with changes to practice and procedure.
• You will work closely with legal authors, forging strong relationships in order to maintain and grow up-to-date quality publications.
• Your commitment to exceptional attention to detail and customer service will help you excel in this role.
• This will be particularly important for the publication process, editing, proofing, adding document automation, publishing within the software and quality review of the work post publication.
• Learn about and become familiar with the By Lawyers publications and how they are used by clients.
• Understand the role of the matter plans, commentary and precedents and master the art of matter plan creation.
• Edit legal materials including commentaries, precedents and matter plans.
• Be involved in the publication process including, editing, proofing, production, and quality review.
• Monitor news and alerts services in order to help keep the UK publications current with the law and practice.
• Draft and publish news posts, alerts, and other marketing materials.

Requirements

• Common law qualified lawyers looking for work life balance.
• Keen interest in the law and legal research.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Exceptional eye for attention to detail.
• Flourish in a team environment.
• Native English drafting skills is a must. Chinese skills helpful but not mandatory
