Key Responsibilities

• In charge of a massive remediation exercise across various offshore jurisdictions
• Responsible to lead and facilitate KYC review/due diligence process in order to clear backlog files to ensure it meets with regulatory requirements
• Work closely with various parties to ensure effective project execution in a timely manner
• Manage, schedule, and follow up on project-related meetings
• Monitor project status tracking and conduct data analysis and reports for management review
• Manage and mentor a small team across HK, China & Philippines , provide guidance and assistance on complicated cases and daily operations of the project team
• Assist in acceptance of new cases and conduct regular file reviews on existing clients
• Handle any ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements / Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following:

• At least 5 years of solid compliance experience in financial services firms or corporate services firms
• Previous experience in managing a small team
• Candidate with less experience will consider be Assistant Manager
• Degree holder in Law, Accounting, or related discipline
• High degree of professional integrity
• Understanding dynamic changes in commercial demands of the business in order to strike a balance
• A team player with good stakeholder management skills
• Independent, self-motivated and pro-active
• Excellent communication skills
• Meticulous attention to fine details
• Keen to work in a challenging, fast paced and dynamic environment
• Good command of Office software and other related computer skills
• Knowledge in SAP and Viewpoint will be an advantage
• Professional fluency in written and oral English with a good command of Chinese
