We are currently looking for a high calibre candidate in Accounting to join our Finance team with the expansion of business. The position incumbent supports various business lines of Sime Darby Motor Services Limited with detail job duties as below,

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing all aspects of finance and accounting operations of group companies in multi-franchise motor businesses in HK
• Prepare hands-on financial reporting and analysis for business line / management review
• Lead the finance team to troubleshoot all month-end closing matters and ensure timely completion of monthly group reporting submission
• Prepare the annual budget and rolling forecast
• Co-ordinate and support the operational units through ascertaining their needs and recommending solutions to business and financial problems
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines and statutory requirements
• Enhance internal controls relating to the finance and accounting functions and business operations
• Handle statutory audit and prepare audited financial statements
• Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements: 

• Degree holder in Finance or Accounting discipline
• Qualified HKICPA or equivalent internationally recognized accounting qualification
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in accounting field and auditing field with some managerial experience
• Subsidiary level reporting experience in matrix organization or experience in motor industry would be a definite advantage
• Strong financial analysis mindset with business sense
• Proactive, detail-oriented, analytical mind and good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with all levels
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Willing to take challenges and able to multitask in fast paced environment
• Work location: Cheung Sha Wan / Tsuen Wan
