Responsibilities:

• Develop Risk Management Systems to fulfill the risk monitoring/ reporting requirements from internal and external needs;
• To propose, design and improve internal FICC risk management frameworks and controls in reference to the Group FICC risk management framework;
• Monitor risk management of asset management and direct investment;
• To be able to calculate and monitor key parameters of market risk (eg. credit and interest rate VARs at different CIs, JTD risk, stress testing, liquidity and concentration risk etc) independently for the department;
• Conduct analysis, both qualitative and quantitative, to review risk exposures with proper reporting and escalation to senior management;
• Help in implementing, reviewing and monitoring compliance adherence procedures from a risk perspective;
• Manage mark-to-market and revaluation on fixed income products and other financial instruments;
• Participate ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• University Degree(s) in Finance, Statistics, Risk Management or related with professional qualifications such as CFA and FRM is preferred ;
• Minimum 3-5 years' of experience in market risk in financial institutions (banks, brokerage firm, fund house, etc. ) ;
• Solid knowledge in capital market and products, especially in listed equities, structured derivative products, fixed income securities and commodities;
• Proficiency in Bloomberg and VBA;
• Experience with the compliance function will be a plus ;
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese, Putonghua is a must ;
• Self-motivated, strong analytical & communication skills, good analytical thinking.
