Role & Responsibilities:

• Work with the Class Teacher to monitor the class schedule
• Assist Class Teachers with lesson preparation by getting materials ready and setting up equipment
• Revise lesson material with students individually or in small groups
• Ensuring that the children are safe and secure at all times
• Supervise students during non-classroom times including in-between classes, recess, lunch, and on field excursions
• Collaborate with Class teachers to recognise issues students are facing and recommend solutions
• Document student progress and communicate with parents to keep them informed.
• Help Class teachers to create lesson plans
• Comply with school, and class rules and regulations
• Attend all professional development training classes and Primary meetings
• Carrying out other duties and tasks as reasonably delegated by the Head of Primary

Requirements:

• Experience in working with children or relevant educational certificate/diploma required
• Excellent verbal and written English skills 
• Proficiency in Google Classroom environment and familiarity with various education software and apps
• Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Reliability; initiative and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to work in a collaborative team environment
• Open, proactive, patient and caring
• Sensitive to the demands of working in a cross-cultural setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
