Main Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge in EU lighting standards (GS, CE, BAUART, LVD, ENEC, EMC, EMF, Laser, ErP, RoHS, REACH.etc.)
• To perform various internal test to assure the product is always NORM conform (e.g. life test, safety test, functional test, reliability test, IP test, electrical test...etc.).
• To inspect & evaluate prototype/sample, new product, component according to NORM and customer requirement.
• Establishes and implements quality assurance policies and procedures. Defines quality measures in conjunction with staff.
• Serve as the resident knowledge expert for all incoming, in-process and final inspections performed by the Final Quality Control (FQC) team. A strong mind for troubleshooting on inspection results this includes understanding how inspections are being performed, at what frequency, and where and how data is collected and stored.
• A strong analytic mind with depth thinking handling customer complaints.
• Maintains strong relationship & negotiate test costs with 3^rd party test houses such as TUV SUD, TUV R, ITS, and BV…etc.
• Works closely and provides technical support with Sales, Product Management, and Merchandising Teams to on board/educate all Vendors/Factories with regard to EU / customer standards.
• Communicate with supplier on technical specification & requirements through product development process to ensure quality standards for product functionality, safety and compliance are met.
• Assist in ensuring the suppliers’ capability to comply with the company’s quality requirements and guidelines.
• Help in ensuring the suppliers’ fulfilment of all quality requirements; formulation of remedial and preventive measures to achieve continuous improvement.

 Requirements / Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of three years of experience within a quality related role. (LED Lighting preferred).
• Tertiary education in Electrical or Mechanical or Quality Assurance or similar relevant disciplines
• Familiar with local and western culture and business practices.
• Able to collaborate with others to develop solutions and resolve problems.
• Must develop solutions to meet customers’ needs.
• Knowledge on regulatory requirements, particularly EN standards and directives is advantage.

• Good command of both spoken and written in English and Putonghua.
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent organization skills, problem resolution, judgment, and decision making skills required.
• Strong mentoring, team building, and counselling skills required.
• Willing to work under pressure.
• Self-Managed / Self Motivated.
