Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance in feasibility study, user requirement elicitation, system analysis & design, implementation of data visualization for data retrieved from Building Management System (BMS) and standalone IoT sensors.
• Take part in Software Development Life Cycle with both internal development team and external contractor.
• Take part in hands-on implementation in various development projects and proof-of-concept technical studies. Experiments and studies on various new technologies in different platforms and software stacks.
• Collaboration and liaison with other development teams, including external contractors to facilitate system integration process.
• Provide advice & assistance to contractor management process.

Requirements:

• Degree/Higher Diploma in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in web services development
  
• Solid experience in front-end application frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, AngularJS)
• Solid experience in message broker system (e.g. MQTT, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Solid experience in non-traditional DBMS (e.g. TSDB, NoSQL DB) (e.g. InfluxDB, MongoDB)
• Experience in common web application frameworks is preferred (e.g. Node.js, Spring, Laravel, ExpressJS)
• Experience in BIM, RFID, BMS, LPWAN and IoT is an absolute advantage
• Strong self-learning and research ability; Able to research/develop on new development language/platform/system as project needs.
