Our Client, a large Multi-National Organisation, is currently looking for a Technical Manager to oversee oversee a key section of an Enterprise technology move to cloud across their APAC business. It will focus on cloud-based voice and video communications, and seamlessly integrating it into their regional business workflows and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in project management and with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional migration projects especially in the area of Cloud infrastructure and Cloud migration in a large enterprise with geographically spread locations.

The role will require a mixture of high level technical domain expertise as well as management capability to manage vendors and set direction across key stakeholders.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Provide direct analysis and recommendations associated with the implementation or migration of specific applications to cloud services.
• Implementing and maintaining cloud management solutions including initial and ongoing configuration of related automation, notifications, and reporting capabilities.
• Identify and troubleshoot cloud service events and issues as well as work with cloud service providers to efficiently solve issues or implement workarounds.
• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluate alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyse for total systems.
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Requirements of the Role

• Graduate qualifications in science, computer science, engineering or equivalent.
• Experience working with ANY Cloud Technologies (Azure and/or AWS), Microsoft, Citrix, VMware product family.
• Documented track record of successful client engagements in large enterprise environments.
• Experience with system architectures that include Cloud Computing technologies.
• Demonstrate proactivity to undertake tasks, while taking ownership to execute them to completion.
• Display strong analytical mindset when it comes to problem solving, and tenacity to pursue solutions.
• Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.
• Excellent communications and presentation skills
