Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Define the vision and direction for end user service platform, and manage a team to turn that vision and requirements into real solutions and roadmap
- Perform a leading role in all desktop and application deployment / technology refreshment operations
- Manage support activities for end user services hardware (PC, Mac, Android and iOS mobile device) and software (Microsoft OS and Office suite) environments
- Collaborate with outsourced helpdesk function to satisfy the need of desktop users
- Manage second level desktop support requests in end user service by creating, tracking and documenting technical solutions
- Ensure end user services align with user and stakeholder needs and IT capabilities
- Work with respective IT Infrastructure services and IT Operations teams to ensure desktop configuration standards are religiously followed
- Manage deliverables associated with a project by prioritizing, tracking, and completing assigned tasks
Requirements:
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Certifications in Microsoft technology (MCSE, MCDST, MCP), Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2) and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) a plus
- At least 10 years working experience in IT Desktop administration and management in both a technical support and managerial capacity in a large enterprise
- Experience in managing a medium to large environment of servers, desktop systems and communications devices using current Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Exchange, NAP, SCCM, VDI supporting (Citrix/VMware/Hyper-V) up to a few thousands users
- Track record of large scale PC/Mac deployments and mobile device management (MDM) for iOS and Android devices
- Good understanding of project and service management, governance, policy and compliance
- Able to communicate effectively and deal with different levels of internal users and external service providers & suppliers
