Objectives of the Position

Reporting to Associate Director, Claims, you have to provide comprehensive and efficient administrative supports to the Claims Team to ensure its smooth operation and the highest quality of services rendered.

This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 6 months with possibility for renewal or changing to permanent employee subject to business need and individual performance. 

Job Responsibilities

• Deal with client claims and settlements
• Liaise with underwriters and clients as required
• Assist with the administration of marine and cargo claims
• Full maintenance of records relevant to the Claims function in accordance with Company’s directions and processes
• Perform other duties relating to the administration of the Claims Team

 Requirements

• Holder of a recognized college diploma or above
• Good command of written and spoken English; fair Putonghua
• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
• Strong communications skill, analytical with critical and systematic thinking
• An attention to detail
• Proactive
• Team player and able to build sustainable relationships
• Preference will be given to job holder who has working experiences in insurance related back office operations, and/or understanding of processes and procedures within the insurance market and the impact on the claims process
