Our client is a leading manufacturer of consumer electronics with business across the globe. They are seeking for an energetic talent to drive its sourcing function in Asia.

Reporting to the Senior Director, you will drive and implement purchasing and strategic sourcing activities of assigned product category to Asia supplier base. You will manage OEM performance, and ensure capacity, quality and delivery reliability to fulfill commercial needs. You will conduct price negotiation and review supplier performance on a regular basis. In addition, you will proactively develop a long-term partnership with major suppliers to ensure stable and quality supply. 

Successful candidate will possess the following competencies and attributes:

• University degree or equivalent in Engineering or any related discipline 
• At least 12 years of sourcing experience in consumer electronics, preferably from a sizeable manufacturing/ sourcing organization
• Resourceful with proven track record in OEM management and supplier development
• Solid technical understanding of water care/ home comfort categories will be highly sought after
• Exposure to multinational organization will be a definite benefit
• Exceptional influential and negotiation skills; with ability to work effectively and efficiently across internal and external stakeholders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
