The M&A Integration Project Manager is a role to lead the planning and delivery of acquisition integration efforts. In this role, the Project Manager will work with senior stakeholders and be the primary coordinator of implementation efforts across integration teams. Working with cross-functional departments at all levels, this position will facilitate planning and accountability for acquisition integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement acquisition integration efforts through tracking of integration status and keep executive team and steering committee informed on updates.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and resource plans. Identify risks, issues, dependencies and manage resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide timely reports on project status. Manage and report on the project budget.
  • Conduct project meetings and produces meeting minutes and RAID logs.
  • Manage project execution proactively and take ownership of project deliverables.
  • Collect and document business requirements for the project as required.
  • Work with Technology team on integration effort as required.
  • Develop and maintain end user documentation as well as provide training related to business process or system changes.
  • Ensure adherence to company’s change framework, governance and project management standards and templates.
  • Work with stakeholders to transition the project to BAU support state.

Requirements / Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • 5-10 years of project management experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with project management processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. Capability to proactively figure out next steps and break through stalemate situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in written and oral English.
  • Very good team player with positive work attitude.
  • Highly organized, attention to detail, excellent follow through skills and ability to work independently and motivate a team.
  • Experience with projects in financial services or professional services.
  • Experience with M&A integration project work desirable.
  • University degree, preferably in a business, finance or computer science discipline.
  • Project management qualification such as MSP, Prince2 or PMI essential
  • Proven track record in managing M&A integration project(s) from an MNC environment is highly regarded
