PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

•          Design business process flow and get relevant stakeholders’ buy-in; perform / lead the write-up of procedural documentations (e.g. Operations Manuals, Process Maps, SOP), system operation guidelines (Desktop Procedures) and business supporting tools (e.g. customer forms, samples sales scripts, checklists, Cards etc.) for bank’s products and services.
•          Assist business stakeholders / branches to prepare User Requirements documents together with business analysis on the feasibility of the initiatives.
•          Take the role of Process Manager to manage process development and facilitate project management, when necessary, for assigned or self-initiated business/system projects. Act as a bridge among IT, business and end users to ensure smooth system implementation.
•          Establish detailed User Acceptance Test plan and test scripts / procedures; conduct testing for branches / joint testing with non-branch end users; document the project deliverables according to IT’s PMP requirements and maintain quality control on the system performance and obtain sign-off of relevant UATs.
•          Arrange process change deployment by drafting Management Circular, preparing and delivering user briefing, and conducting post-launch health checking and post-implementation review.
•          Provide production supports and answer post-launch user enquiries; define, gather, input and maintain parameters for application systems; conduct investigation for process or system related incident / customer complaint, derive remedial action and monitor implementation
•          Perform Customer Draw List / Fulfilment List verification for Marketing campaigns; manage the extraction of non-campaign related operational data from systems.

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

•          First tier University  Bachelor or  Master  with major in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting
•          More than 5 years solid experience in banking industry
•         Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas for extended period:
•         business analysis or operations and methodology in financial institution
•         banking operations in either front or back office
•         UAT and system support is an added advantage
•          Familiar with consumer banking operations and knowledge in any of the following areas:

o        transactional banking and branch operation; or

o        technical know-how of e-channels system (e.g. ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking); or

o        investment products and related regulatory requirements on their selling process; or

o        credit card, insurance, loan products and related operational mechanism such as CardLink, Visa/MasterCard Rules. 

•          Excellent English and/or Chinese writing skills, preferably with experience in procedural manual writing
•          Meticulous at work, good analytical and logical thinking skills
•          Good negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
•          Strong PC knowledge
•          Customer-oriented and willing to work overtime
