Job Description

Our client is a pre-eminent American brand and leading provider of a broad range of communication, electronic and security systems and products used in the Aviation (airports) industry for both military and commercial purposes. Currently they seek a Regional Sales Manager, who will engage with partners and drive the tendering / bidding process in their sales endeavors. Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout North Asia (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea), by opening doors and introducing Company’s products and services to all market segments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key agents and regulatory authorities, keeping the Company updated on any new developments and opportunities.
  • Drive the entire regional sales initiative including business development and account management, lead generation, customer qualification, proposal delivery, and contract negotiation.
  • Manage the submission of all tenders / bids, having engaged with all relevant internal parties to ensure it meets with Company technical, financial, and customer objectives.
  • Achieve individual and team revenue targets, and set appropriate objectives for sales distributors and representatives to meet desired revenue goals.
  • Interface with all internal groups and project teams regarding technical support of all Company products and services
  • Serve as a key point of communication between the company and the customer to ensure their full satisfaction with a timely resolution to any customer issues
  • Manage a portfolio of bids & projects and oversee successful completion within time, budget and quality constraints.

 

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • About 10 years of experience working in the North Asia region, with responsibility for Sales through submission tenders / bids.
  • Ideally possess working knowledge from within security and detection sector (or related markets ), and with a knowledge of security legislation and processes.
  • Proven verbal and written fluency in English and Chinese languages. Knowledge of Japanese and Korean language are an asset.
  • Must have experience in dealing with most Government and semi-Government agencies, and presenting at senior levels.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multi-cultural skills are essential.
  • Project planning, cost estimation and budget control, risk and opportunity analysis.
