RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Liaising with Brokers, Fund Administrator and Custodian regarding any trade queries
• Trade settlement by generating Settlement Instructions to Custodians, and ensuring trades are reconciled, executed and settled
• Work directly with the Front Office to elevate and resolve any disputes on daily activity
• Ensure internal trading and accounting system accuracy and the necessary controls are in place to identify any issues in a timely manner
• Assist in the preparation of the funds’ audited financial statements by interfacing with the fund administrator and auditor
• Record accounting transactions of the fund and ensuring all investments are booked accurately
• Prepare wire transfers for payment of firm and fund expenses
• Daily maintenance and reconciliation of fund NAV
• Ensure accurate booking and allocation of trades with prime brokers
• Regularly update the firm’s marketing materials and assist in the process of investor onboarding
• Assist in the preparation of documents necessary to establish agreements with new prime brokers, trading brokers, and ISDA counterparties
• Handle ad hoc assignments

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree in a related discipline
• Ideally 1-2 years of experience in hedge fund, fund house or fund administrator
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Must be fluent in Putonghua
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail is a requirement
• Ability to learn quickly
