A day in the life:

Reporting to APAC FP&A Director and supporting the APAC MD and business leaders, the FP&A Manager is responsible for the full company planning cycle including the long range planning process, annual operating plan and monthly forecasting processes in addition to having oversight to corporate overhead expense areas.

  • Drive annual operating plan cycle, including target & KPI settings, identifying risks & opportunities and forecasting trends to assist the MD and business partner to drive the business
  • Responsible for long range driver based financial model for the business and in partnership with different functions across the region
  • Prepares regular internal managmenet reporting, quarterly business review and BoD materials
  • Partners with regional and global FP&A teams, proactively seeking opportunities to improve processes and forecasting accuracy across all areas of FP&A
  • Oversight of the Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Strategic Finance applications to ensure efficiency and accuracy for planning and analytics
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to provide financial analysis direction for operational decisions

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive financial analysis and reporting experience with fast paced business environments, Retail industry an asset
  • University degree in Finance, Commerce or Business Administration
  • Experience with Hyperion or other large ERP systems is an asset
  • Strong financial background; exceptional analytical and modeling skills; expert knowledge of financial statements
