At Vistra we are moving into an exciting new chapter of global expansion and we are seeking an experienced Manager (or Senior Manager level) with substantial Continuous Improvement (CI) programme management background, to join our head up our Operations North Asia team, delivers results by working in close partnership with business owners and key functional stakeholders in planning and implementing operational transformation initiatives, with a major focus in process improvement, change management and commercial business analysis, in order to drive operational excellence across the organization. Position based in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Support the group in designing, the Continuous Improvement (CI) programme in North Asia;
  • Interview key stakeholders and develop and document key processes via SIPOC process mapping principles
  • Support business case development and scoping of prioritised CI waves by deploying a quantitative and qualitative analysis approach
  • Drive fact base analysis to identify insights on wasted efforts and opportunities for process efficiency, digitisation and automation

Implementation & Delivery

  • Partners closely with business owners and key functional stakeholders to implement approved process improvement initiatives
  • Proactively manages change impacts via stakeholder and risk frameworks
  • BAU Support
  • Support other North Asia transformation initiatives in ensuring all regional transformation initiatives are appropriately monitored, resources, supported and prioritised.
  • Facilitate and communicate improvement activities in order to embed a continuous improvement culture within the country
  • Leads and challenge status quo for best practice / operational excellence standards

Requirements / Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline (CPA, MBA, PMO or advanced degree preferred)
  • Holder of PMO, LEAN, Six Sigma Green Belt or Six Sigma Black Belt will be an advantage
  • 5+ years of relevant regional experience within a similar capacity (ideally in a professional services organization)
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, optimizing business processes and service delivery models
  • Demonstrated knowledge in project management and operations management
  • Excellent structured problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skill with demonstrable experience in working within a dynamic/ fast changing organisation and able to build bridges between the different stakeholders within the organisation, sectors and locations
  • Strong business acumen with an eye for seeing business improvement opportunities
  • Business modelling / statistical tool will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese a must. Mandarin will be an advantage
