We are looking for a high caliber professional to join the Centre of Excellence - Web / Emerging Applications Technology Branch, Information Technology Group of CLP PowerHong Kong Limited.

This position is expected to work with a team of developers and delegated software vendors to provide services to our business independently.  Key attributes required include project management, vendor management, development and implementation of Internet and Intranet portal as well as Web application using Microsoft SharePoint and .NET platform, with excellent soft skills and discipline in meeting timelines with limited resources.  

Reporting to the Project Manager - Web Development, the appointee will be responsible for:

• Participating in the development and implementation of Internet and Intranet portal as well as Web application using Microsoft SharePoint and .NET platform
• Managing and implementing IT projects, vendor and team management, system analysis, design and delivery to meet business requirements on time within budget, and meeting quality and security standard
• Supervising subordinate members to provide efficient and reliable IT system maintenance and support to achieve required quality and service level
• Keeping abreast of technology direction and development in particular in Web and Mobile Technology 
• Providing professional and technical guidance and support to subordinate members

Requirements:

• A recognised university degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related discipline
• At least 5 years' relevant experience in IT project management, vendor management, system development and support.  Solid working experience in Internet and Intranet development using Microsoft SharePoint and .NET is a must, while experience inMobiledevelopment is a definite advantage
• Experience in leading a small team in project implementation and application maintenance and support, in the areas of Internet and Intranet portal as well as Web development under Microsoft SharePoint and .NET platform
• Development experience in Java, SQL Reporting, Active Server Pages, XML, Multi-media and Content Management System is a definite advantage
• Good documentation and report writing skills
• Self initiative, creative and innovative with excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
• Good supervisory and project management skills
• High proficiency in English. Mandarin will be an added advantage 
• Regional exposure with experience working in different cultures in the Asia-Pacific region is preferred. Willing to travel and accept short-term overseas assignment as and when required
