Candidates with less experience will be considered as AVP - IT Audit

Responsibilities:

• Engage in leading the IT Audit function
• Conduct audits or lead audit teams in performance of IT audits and reviews of systems, applications and IT processes with objectives to evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls on various IT related systems of the Bank
• Identify risk areas and propose solutions to mitigate potential risks, including developing and maintaining the IT Risk Assessment at the Group Level
• Prepare reports with audit findings and recommendations
• Perform follow-up review for proper implementation of audit recommendations
• Assist in developing Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques (CAATs) and audit programs
• Ensure full compliance with internal audit methodology and risk assessment framework, and external regulatory requirements
• Lead IT audit team to perform periodic overseas IT audits

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines
• Professional qualifications of CISA, CISSP or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in IT audit or related fields, preferably in banks or financial institutions
• Proficiency in computer programming and host file access methods, preferably with knowledge of Mainframe, AS400 and IT risk standards
• Understanding of information security standards, best practices for securing computer systems and applicable laws and regulations
• Independent with analytical mind and risk control sense
