With the implementation of Hub & Gateway Optimization (HGO) programme in Asia Pacific to meet global targets, we are looking for Process Engineer to identify, develop and deploy the most efficient work methods, processes and resource structures within the Operations activity in Central Asia Hub.

Reporting to General Manager Central Asia Hub, you will be responsible for the following:

• Lead the evaluation of existing work practices and promote the best identified to move the company towards a more standardized and efficient operation
• Evaluate and prepare process methods and work instructions to ensure the continuous improvement of the Global standards
• Develop and promote Global productivity models and establish productivity targets for DHL operations
• Act as the interface between local business initiatives and the Engineering Department to ensure that manning and productivity aspects are taken into consideration when launching new projects
• Decide/propose on operational areas to be studied, propose work plans to the Operations Manager and ensure that objectives are met within the agreed deadlines
• Develop the function of Productivity Improvement to ensure the tools and techniques are constantly adapted to the latest operational changes and always appropriate to the business
• Perform and manage Process Improvement activities within the countries and provide specific technical input as required to ensure the agreed objectives are met.

Requirements:

• Engineering Degree
• 5-7 years of experience in Engineering, with experience in leading Engineering projects
• Experience in methods, performance measurement and implementation of productivity improvement changes
• Good analytical skills, and can demonstrate sound judgment
• Good interpersonal & influencing skills
• Be able to communicate effectively with all work levels, both in English & Chinese
