Junior Controller/Accountant – Hong Kong

Job description and main responsibilities:

- participation in development and implementation of internal policies, controls and processes relating to accounting, cost allocation, reporting and finance in general

- preparation, distribution and improvement of the quality of regular management financial reports

- providing cost variance analysis and commentaries on budget vs. actual results

- processing of purchase invoices and initiating the approval process

- planning, analysis and reporting of the company‘s cash flow

- participation in preparing and review of the company’s annual financial statements

- participating in ad-hoc projects and analyses

- regular communication and cooperation with the company’s corporate secretary and the group finance teams located in Asia and European headquarters

- cooperation with external auditors

- reporting to the group controller in Europe

We require:

- finance/accounting education background

- at least 2 years of relevant experience in controlling or accounting

- good knowledge of MS Excel

- knowledge of the IFRS standards is an advantage

- high level of English, both spoken and written, is essential

- knowledge of Cantonese is an advantage
