We are assisting a PRC financial institution to invite high calibre candidates to apply for the above post.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with system vendors, trading and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues, make continuous improvements, and configure the front, middle and back-end systems for securities and futures trading
• Work on daily routine IT operations and system checking tasks
• Create, update and improve continuous monitoring processes of the production trading environment
• Perform or arrange of UAT before system launch
• Support the release process to ensure that trading systems are upgraded and changed properly
• Provide technical support to users and clients on front, middle and back-end systems
• Review performance and foresee capacity issues on trading system and address them with vendors
• Carry out and coordinate market rehearsal with end-users, vendors and Exchange and ensure our trading system is compliant
• Assist in infrastructure monitoring, support and trouble shooting

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of trading application support experience at financial/brokerage firms
• Familiar with variety of trading systems (e.g. eBroker, Ayers, SharpPoint etc) for securities and futures trading
• Good infrastructure knowledge for trading systems (e.g. SDNet, DMZ, VPN, Firewalls etc.) knowledge
• Hands-on experience with incident, change and configuration management
• Familiar with SFC and Exchange rules and regulations for trading system
• Critical thinking skill to troubleshoot application issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
