Responsibilities:

• Monitor, coordinate and implement all regulatory matters, in particular, to assist in ensuring that relevant legal and regulatory requirements, particularly in Hong Kong and Macau, are complied with.
• Observe insurance related guidelines from external regulatory bodies and assist coordinating implementation.
• Provide compliance and / or legal advice in connection with major business initiatives and transactions.
• Ensure that the compliance framework is in place, applied, monitored and updated as required, covering both Hong Kong and Macau.
• Provide regular compliance risk reporting to the management team and provide relevant reporting to regulatory/authorities as appropriate
• Draft and review of commercial agreements and marketing materials etc.
• Provide compliance related training to management and staff.
• Handle insurance-related complaint cases for the company.
• Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions in relation to the insurance business

Requirements:

• University degree or above in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics or related disciplines
• University degree or above in Law disciplines is a plus
• At least 10 years of compliance experience in the insurance industry
• Good knowledge of the legal and compliance landscape in Hong Kong and Macau
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Independent, reliable and highly motivated
• possesses a problem-solving mindset
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
