Our client is a global professional services firm. To cope with their team expansion, they are recruiting high potential risk professionals with focus on market risk or credit risk areas.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducting valuation on the following financial instrument: Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, complex structured derivatives, exotic options, stock options, structured products, etc.
• Analyzing and quantifying market risk
• Developing strategies to manage market risk including setting risk appetite
• Developing policies, processes and organization structures that link commodity/energy pricing policy overall corporate objectives to support ongoing management of market risk
• Conducting credit risk model development and validation
• Performing portfolio stress testing
• Reviewing and developing credit approval policy
• Analyzing clients’ current credit approval process and recommending on process re-engineering

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder, preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Risk Management
• 1-4 years of relevant experience in banks (corporate banking), rating agencies, management consulting firms or big 4 audit firms
• Good knowledge in any of the following areas:
  • Banking operation
  • Customer/risk analytics
  • Credit risk management
  • Basel II and Hong Kong Monetary Authority/China Banking Regulatory Commission requirements
  • Financial instrument valuation
  • Market risks
• Practical experience in using statistical software (e.g. SAS) plus Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Ability to translate client issues into solutions that address complex situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is essential
• Demonstrable rapid learning capability and able to work under pressure
