Fugro is now looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Regional Business Development Manager (APAC), you will facilitate the delivery of strategic business change.

Role

• Creatively identifying new business opportunities (both product and services) and actively establishing clear, complete and concise business cases that balances cost and benefits
• Undertaking primary and secondary research to support business development strategies and marketing activities in a range of client industries
• Monitoring and analysing market trends, customer and competitor activities
• Generating reports and/or presentations to communicate analysis and ideas
• Developing and maintaining long standing relationships with stakeholders on potential business opportunities
• Handle ad hoc projects as required

Candidate

The ideal profile of applicants is likely to satisfy the following personal attributes:

• Degree holder in engineering or commercial related disciplines, preferably with a good knowledge of macro economics and major capital project development processes
• With minimum 3 years academic research or professional experience in renewable energy, oil and gas or infrastructure sectors
• Background working as strategy consultant would be an advantage
• Team spirited and keen to make a full contribution to a dynamic, global work environment
• With strong information management, analytical, communication, presentation skills and a commercial mindset
• Excellent written and spoken English is a must, Mandarin would be an advantage
• Willingness to make short-term trips within the Asia-Pac region as the need arises
