This position will be a key driver of the Company’s capital markets strategy.  The General Manager of Capital Markets will be responsible for raising new capital/financing for the Company’s commercial real estate assets and acquisitions through establishing and developing access to debt and equity capital from institutional investors.

We are expecting someone with expertise of fundraising, a quantifiable track record, extensive and lasting investor relations across Hong Kong, mainland China, and overseas.

Specific grade and title will be based on the candidate's relevant experience.  This role will be based in Hong Kong and require frequent travel to mainland China.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new relationships with institutional investors and family offices. Develop a plan to introduce new investors to the Company’s commercial real estate investment portfolios;
• Develop funding channels in the international debt/equity capital markets;
• Continuously build and manage the investor pipeline in a highly disciplined, systematic manner;
• Coordinate responses to investor inquiries and information requests, and manage due diligence meetings and works;
• Conduct market research on target prospects, set up meetings and communicate the investment strategies and differentiate factors;
• Prepare pitch books, RFP responses and other marketing materials;
• Responsible for deal sourcing, management, due diligence and deal execution;
• Assist the team in origination of corporate bond issuance.

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 5-10 years’ experience in institutional fundraising (track record in raising capital from HF, FF, insurance companies, banks and institutional PE investors);
• Mainland Candidates, have working experience in Beijing and Hong Kong is preferrable;
• Have a professional CPA or CFA qualification;
• Well versed with the rules and regulations of the capital markets in Hong Kong and mainland China;
• Highly commercial with proven ability to leverage personal rolodex of established and active set of relationships with institutional investors;
• Superior relationship-building, communication and presentation skills and international work experience required;
• Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills;
• High energy level, independent, strong entrepreneurship, motivated and able to work under pressure;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese **(Near to Native in Mandarin)**.
