The IT Manager is responsible to set up the IT Infrastructure and Operating System for our new office, auction transactions and to provide all-round support to our staff. The set up includes, but not limited to, sourcing for the suitable hardware, network, operating systems for emails, databases, auction transactions, system security, setting up and managing users’ desktops and network connections, mobile access, audio & video facilities, phone system, printing, and providing support to users’ enquiries on IT related issues.

Job Duties include, but not limited to, the followings:

• Assess the needs of the IT system to fulfil our operations and staff’s requirements. Conduct analysis, action plans and prepare budgets for the equipment and system required for approval.
• Make sure the efficient use of resources on hardware, network, funds and manpower.
• Be responsible for the IT related inventory of all devices and applications of the company.
• Troubleshoot the operating system including hardware, software, network, etc. when necessary.
• Be responsible to set up users’ profiles, email account, etc. for new user.
• Conduct IT related orientation for new staff, such as, how to use email & filing system, telephone system, network, etc.
• To ensure our IT system is secured by selecting the appropriate security system and regular monitoring of the system.
• To efficiently and effectively set up and terminate users’ profiles, system access when needed.
• Prepare reports on issues, risks, usage, productivity, users’ problem and requests, etc. on a regular basis.
• Coordinate, arrange and prepare video conference facilities.

During Auction Sale

• Be responsible for all IT system for the Auction Sale.
• To source suitable vendors/consultants to set up the IT system including network, hardware and software for Auction Sale, and be responsible to all IT facilities preparation, relocations, set up, dismantle for the Auction Sales, with the help of the selected vendors/consultants.
• To ensure company’s IT properties are secured during Auction Sale.

Qualifications required:

• Bachelor Degree in MIS or Engineering disciplines or relevant subjects.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Excellent written and spoken Mandarin and English
• Effective communication skills
• Possess proactive and positive attitude
• Passion and commitment to provide assistance to others
• Independent with strong follow-up mindset
• Flexible working hours during Auction Sales
