We are now inviting top talents to join our International Carrier Business team to help spearhead this growth.

Overview - Business Development Manager – International Carrier Business (ICB)

You as the selected talent will lead new business developments and commercial transactions of M800’s wholesale voice and SMS portfolios with 300 global partners. The portfolio includes IDD, Virtual Numbers, SMS and A2P. Gross margin and revenue will be key performance indicators. You will also play a pivotal role in supporting our enterprise portfolio by leveraging carrier partnerships to deliver competitive costings. You will be required to travel occasionally, and potentially build a team based on the growth you deliver to the company. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage an established account base and maintain key stakeholder relationships, bringing incremental business and new business to add profitable revenue streams.
  • Manage and own the P&L for all connectivity products (Voice, SMS, Virtual Numbers) in the wholesale and carrier market.
  • Proactively define and execute the procurement strategy that will enable sales to gain market pricing insight and market intelligence.
  • Proactively monitor & manage supplier performance.
  • Maintain relationships with international carriers, mobile operators and aggregators, ensuring that contractual commitments are delivered with qualitative and quantitative efficiency. On time, on budget, and above premium quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree level, and/or strong relevant industry experience 
  • Strong business sense
  • A go-getter attitude.
  • Must have a willing to learn attitude

Skills/Experience required:

  • Min 2 years’ sales/business development experience in a B2B environment
  • Telecom experience preferred but not a must.  
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and multi-tasking in fast-paced environment - proven track record of delivering target commitments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with good business sense.
  • Fluent in English (required) and Cantonese / Putonghua preferred but not a must.
  • Willing to travel.
