JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provision of plant, tools and personnel to undertake ground investigation works to satisfy corporate expectation on quality, safety, production and cost.
• Mobilisation and demobilisation of resources to and from work sites.
• Overall management of the Plant Depot.
• Application of key quality principles throughout the operational processes of: planning, control, assurance and improvement.
• Understand and adhere to FGS quality, health, safety and environmental policies at an operational level.
• Comply with all statutory health and safety regulations.
• Clear communication by verbal and written records with all parties including field operational and supervisory staff, supplies and sub-contractors.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor Degree holder in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years related work experience, preferably with drilling rigs, marine construction vessels or related engineering projects.
• Ideal candidates should preferably possess experience in:-
  • Planned maintenance programme.
  • Personal development.
  • Intensive work programme management servicing multiple sites.
  • Effective leadership of a team through delegation and hands-on direction as appropriate.
  • Processes and document control.
  • Hong Kong or international driving license.
  • Good command or English, Cantonese and Chinese, both spoken and written.
  • Drilling, sampling and testing operations would be an advantage.
  • Marine construction vessel (jack-up platform and floating barge) operations would be an advantage.
