INTERMEDIATE LIGHTING DESIGNER

Minimum 3 years lighting design experience 

Education in Architecture, Lighting Design, Interior Design or Product Design

Responsibility for project lighting design under guidance of Senior designer and/or director

Work closely with Clients/ Architects/ Interior Designers/ Other consultants to initiate and develop lighting concepts

Take up projects from concept creation, detailing to final focusing

Prepare lighting concept and participate design meetings as needed

Work with teammates to turn the concept design into design package include lighting plan, lighting details, control plan, control schedule with clients’ budget in mind

Perform site supervision and final focusing as needed

Meet with suppliers for light fittings qualification

Skilled in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Powerpoint, Dialux, InDesign

Knowledge of 3D software would be an advantage

Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English

Good communication, presentation and time management

Willing to travel occasionally

SENIOR LIGHTING DESIGNER

Minimum successful 6 years in lighting design experience to lead project

Education in Architecture, Lighting Design, Interior Design or Product Design

Responsibility for project lighting design, from concept to construction documentation incl. site visits under guidance of design director and/or studio director

Prepare lighting concept and participate design meetings as needed

Coordinating with relevant client and design teams for different types of projects e.g. hospitality,  cultural, commercial or infrastructure, both locally and internationally

Lead/work with teammates to turn the concept design into design package include lighting plan, lighting details, control plan, control schedule with clients’ budget in mind

Responsibility for organizational processes, project management and summarizing information for project controlling

Perform site supervision and final focusing as needed

Meet with suppliers for light fittings qualification

Skilled in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS office, Dialux, Revit

Knowledge of 3D software would be an advantage

Capable and confidence in handling of different project types and tasks at same time, while coordinating the project teams with good time management skill

Reliability and ability to work under time pressure

Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English

Good communication, presentation and the ability to communicate light and solutions sketchily in design team meetings and client workshops

Fast, motivated and self-organized team member with passion

Flexibility to travel in the region and internationally
