Job Description
DNA Recruit Partners is partnering up with a Hong Kong-listed conglomerate business, they are looking for a well experienced and established Chef with creative culinary flair of creating delicious Japanese cuisine. This position is to be a Private Executive Chef to our client and his family.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for authentic Japanese cuisine cooking and preparation; occasionally western fusion involved
- Responsible for overall kitchen operation, raw ingredients sourcing, procurement, stock and equipment control
- Ensure high level of guest service, establishing concept dish ideas and menus for special events and catering
- Ensure the kitchen maintain high standard of hygiene and food safety practices
- Travel with the employer for special catering event occasionally
Requirements:
- Pleasant demeanour, and passionate towards Japanese and western cuisine creation
- Excellent team player, self-motivated and versatile
- Exposure in Michelin Starred Restaurant or five-star hotel is a bonus
- Fluent in spoken Chinese such as Mandarin or Cantonese will be a bonus
