POSITION SUMMARY:

Senior Analyst, Project Lifecycle will provide support for the project, portfolio and program process development within all aspects of the Project Lifecycle Management responsibilities, with prioritized focus on the support of Project Leads and Teams within the Asia Region.

The Senior Analyst will also work to streamline PMO processes, create re-usable collateral, and identify and map out areas for process improvement that need to be communicated and incorporated within training material and assets.

The Senior Analyst will collaborate across the Portfolio Management and Project Lifecycle team to support Project Leads understanding of the portfolio and project management processes to drive adoption, maturity and excellence.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Assist Associates in the Project Lead role to understand the Lifecycle process, supporting toolsets and assets to effectively plan and execute the projects within the agreed guidelines and procedures.
  
  
• Assist Associates in the Project Lead role make the right decisions in the management and escalation of risks and issues to provide transparency through the project lifecycle
  
  
• Coach as required to navigate the documentation and governance requirements for the planning and execution of the projects.
  
  
• Provide insights, support and guidance to the Project Leads and Teams on changes/enhancement to the processes and help mitigate any risks and drive adoption for ongoing management of the projects within the portfolio.
  
  
• Support project teams in work breakdown definition and kick off sessions to develop initial project timelines and schedules that are required for translations to detailed project plan.
  
  
• Ability to collaborate on the impact of project change requests and schedule slippages; inform Project Leads/Portfolio Owners of potential impacts, escalation to their Senior Manager or Director as required.
  
  
• Collaborate across the TPG organization within Asia to train and communicate internal process changes to new and existing team members.
  
  
• Provide first line support for the region on project information and scheduling problems within the PPM Toolset and SharePoint including maintaining incidents, requests and knowledge base within the Service Now toolset.
  
  
• Supports weekly and bi-weekly Governance meetings (Portfolio and Project review) and ensure that Project Leads and Teams are compliant to all gating requirements and follow up resulting actions in a timely manner
  
  
• Collaborates with Project Lifecycle Manager to identify areas for Training, coaching or additional assets to aid understanding and maturity in the project lifecycle and management process.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience managing or supporting midsize to large enterprise wide projects with high levels of complexity and transformation, utilizing PPM tools.
  
  
• Extensive background in working with PPM processes, project management processes, techniques and tools, especially PPM tools and Microsoft Project.
  
  
• Familiarity with the retail fashion industry a plus.
  
  
• Experience in facilitating change, including collaboration with senior-level stakeholders.
  
  
• Excellent communication and analysis skills
  
  
• Proven internal & external influencing skills with Peers and at senior management levels.
  
  
• Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese and Korean language is a plus.
  

Education:

• Bachelor's degree, master’s degree a plus.
  
  
• PfMP, MoP, PMP certifications a plus.

 Skills: 

• Strong MS Office experience.
  
  
• MS Project Professional and SharePoint experience a plus.
  
  
• Self-motivator with strong work ethics.
  
  
• Maintains a customer service focus.
  
  
• Strong analytical skills.

Indirect: Assist the Portfolio Owners and Project Leads to mentor and develop more junior team members on Project Lead tasks.

ENVIRONMENT:

• Position will be based out of the Asia, Hong Kong Office with possible travel to other corporate locations within Asia
  
  
• Flexible hours are required to attend and manage meetings with international project team members before/after normal working hours.
