Responsibilities:

• Work closely with system vendors, trading and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues, make continuous improvements, and configure the front, middle and back-end systems for securities and futures trading;
• Create, update and improve continuous monitoring process of the production trading environment;
• Support the release process to ensure that trading systems are updated;
• Review performance, foresee capacity and improve on trading systems with vendors;
• Coordinate and carry out HKEX market rehearsal to ensure trading systems can fulfill regulatory requirements;
• Assist in infrastructure monitoring, daily routine IT operations and system checking;
• Support to users and clients on front, middle and back-end systems;
• Perform all other duties as assigned by seniors from time to time.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 5 years of trading application support experience at financial/brokerage firms;
• Certificate Holders of CCNP/CCSE/CCSA would be advantage;
• Familiar with variety of trading systems (e.g. ebroker, Ayers, MegaHub, ET net, Sharp Point etc.) for securities and futures trading;
• Good infrastructure knowledge of trading systems (e.g. SDNet, DMZ, VPN, LAN/WAN etc.);
• Familiar with SFC and HKEX rules and regulations for trading system;
• Solid experience on Switch, Router, IPS, Firewall (Cisco, Juniper, A10, PaloAlto, Fortinet);
• Hands-on experience with incident, change and configuration management;
• Experience in Core network technologies is preferred;
• Critical thinking skills to troubleshoot application issues;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
• Immediate available is highly preferred.
