Job Overview:

As a Quality Engineer, you will be one of the key members in Engineering Team of Production department to implement standardization, perform root cause analysis, monitor process quality and maintain manufacturing quality system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for establishing product related quality testing plans with associated product specifications and customer requirements.
• Conduct product failure analysis solve the outstanding quality problems and perform investigations to find out the root causes and develop corrective action plan for preventive measurement.
• Monitor, analyze and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing process on quality issues through conducting in-process production line quality checking & random inspection of products to ensure demonstrated success in the consistent product quality performance.
• Write quality plans, working instructions, testing plans and provide quality related trainings / qualifications to front line operators
• Report the investigation results after product failure analysis, document the test results and provide test reports.
• Support supplier audit, work with suppliers to resolve quality/process issues identified and drive suppliers for continuous quality improvement.
• Take care of test and measuring equipment calibration activities.
• Perform additional ad-hoc duties when necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree holder of Industrial / Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines.
• 4-6 years of experience in industrial quality engineering, quality assurance or quality control position.  Factory experience is a must.
• Solid experience with qualifications of related quality control tools e.g. ISO9001, SPC, CPK or other quality management system will be an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of CAPA, SCAR reports, DOE, PPAP, MSA and Six Sigma are essential.
• Good command in spoken/written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
• Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, detail oriented, excellent analytical, problem solving, documentation skills and quality focused.
• Ability to work with people of all levels.
• Provide on-site support to suppliers and customers with occasional business travels within/outside Hong Kong.
