The purpose of this post is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Executive Office by providing professional secretarial work and performing a role of liaison with Support Offices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and secretarial support for Executive Office and the National Director
• Assist and provide support for the Board to give governance oversight to WV China in accordance with WVI polices and the HKSAR laws
• Support the arrangement of Board & Committee Meetings
• Perform as a focal person to liaise with Support Offices / Potential Donors to explore any funding opportunities
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to respond to Support Offices enquiries timely
• Coordinate with Operations to arrange project visits and report submission

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Corporate Administration/Company Secretarial Studies and/or related fields
• At least 2years relevant experience in a complex, international organization (preferably in an International NGO context), demonstrated competency in providing executive level support
• Strong cross-cultural, customer-oriented and detail-minded
• Ability to multi-task and work with strict deadlines, under pressure situations, and remain calm in stressful situations; ability to prioritize and adjust with change
• Good interpersonal, communications, negotiation and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and diplomacy
• Able to work independently and as a good team player
• Proactive, can-do attitude, dependable and have ability to keep strict confidentiality
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese, and English.  Putonghua is a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Flexible to work overtime and/or during the weekends, upon request
